Aquatic aerobics is a pleasant and safe way to work on your fitness. Under the guidance of Edgar, our enthusiastic and passionate trainer, you’ll be training in an indoor heated pool in Amsterdam.

You don’t have to be an experienced swimmer or athlete as you train at your own level. Because of the massaging effect of the water, you’ll avoid muscle aches and pains that may occur during more traditional workouts. That makes this training extremely suitable for those who may have a slight mobility impairment or limited range of motion. The aim of the training is to keep all participants active and to exercise within their own limits.

Due to the comprehensive structure of the training, all muscle groups are covered. Each lesson starts with stretching exercises followed by cardio workouts and concludes with some cool-down stretches. During the sessions, we use dumbbells in different weights, flexbeams (a type of flotation device) and swim belts. Sometimes we’ll also swim rounds or play a ball game to keep our activities varied.
